Tachyon™ chip is dual ARM core based Multimedia Processor for embedded video devices like Mobile phone, MP4, PMP, Mobile TV, Navigation, IP-STB. It is designed to perform powerful and dynamic multimedia functions under very low power consumption. This SoC family is usable both as Application Processor for multimedia and system control, and as Media Coprocessor for multimedia functions only. It supports Multi-standard A/V codecs, VPx video codec of On2 Technologies, Mobile 3D/2D graphic engine, USB 2.0 OTG, Embedded OS, Browser, Flash Player and so on.
