Boo-Ree Multimedia is a fabless semiconductor company that designs, develops and markets the innovative Multimedia SoC and Solutions.

The company is incorporated in 2004 by several founders who have many years’ experiences in chip design and business. Since then, a number of essential h/w IPs for advanced multimedia functions have been developed internally. For example, 3D/2D graphic engine IP for mobile, H.264 and VP6 Video Codec IP, AAC+ and Dolby AC-3 Audio Codec IP, fast 8bit RISC core IP, and ADPCM Voice Codec IP are on our IP list now. On the basis of those works and analysis of market request, its own SoC products are designed and deployed by two product lineups.
The first one is Chorus™ series that is 8bit CPU based Voice SoC family, and the second one is Tachyon™ series that is 32bit Multimedia SoC family.

All the members of the company as well as Dr. Kim, CEO have one goal of making “The Global Leader in Multimedia SoC Business” of Boo-Ree Multimedia Inc.
